DEFINITION

Cream/white coloured granules manufactured by milling, drying and sieving Aspen from sustainable forests.
The Aspen is kiln-dried and carefully sifted to attain the specified grade. 

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

  • high absorbency: 1L of litaspen can absorb up
    to 0.95 L
  • efficient and natural absorption of odours
  • low dust content
  • product 100% natural
  • ash at 800° C: 0.49 %
  • loose bulk density: 150 g/l
  • moisture content: 10 to 15 % maximum
  • pH : 5.6

PARTICLE SIZE

  • dust content (particles below 250 µm) : 0.1 %
  • average size of particles: 1,5 mm - 1,8 mm

Certificate of analysis provided quarterly for following elements

  • bacteria
  • heavy metals
  • alfatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2
  • pesticides residues
